This week we will be focusing on Main Idea in a story. Our phonics skill will be -ee and -ea vowel digraphs. Please remember to have your child read 20-30 minutes nightly and complete Spelling Choice Boards by Friday.
Writing/Language Arts-
The students will be completing All About Me books. We will also be doing some Thanksgiving writing as well. Our grammar skill will be possessive nouns.
Social Studies-
We will be completing our choice board projects for Georgia Beginnings. The student have been able to choose various in-class projects such as: posters, readers theatre plays, rap songs, and many other tasks related to Tomochichi, Mary Musgrove, and James Oglethorpe. ***Parents please note our Unit 2 test on Georgia Beginnings will be this coming Thursday, November 21st. The students have brought home completed study guides in their binders. Please email me if you need an additional copy emailed to you here: dowd@fultonschools.org and I have also included a seperate page for you (see above page)
